So, despite the cold weather, I really want to go to Antartica now!! Today was dedicated to learning about Antartica since the US operates their bases out of New Zealand. We had a lecture and visited the Antartic Centre which my family and I visited 10 years ago. We got to get real close to a penguin and had a lecture from one of the Antartic researchers. I have been reading my dad's dictation of our trip and it is so funny because he talks about the fish and chips and Bluff oysters and those are definitely a staple over here. Some things never change.. The group is going out for dinner soon and I think we are going to try Margaritas and Mexican!! I'm scared to say that 2 people in our group have gotten food poisoning, so I am a little nervous and reluctant to eat any food!! I will try to post pics asap, but the computers here don't allow for an uploading!!

It has been raining here for 4 straight days. I have 2 roof leaks that the roofer is working on. The electrician are here to clear that mess up.
I have someone looking at the house on Sunday and 2 others in 2 weeks.
I keep praying!!
